Reading skills – How to improve reading skills ?

When I first heard the term light speed reading about a year ago, I had no idea what it was then I searched Google and came to know that light speed reading is reading at very fast speed with highest percentage of comprehension. I decided to give it a try and I red some books downloaded soft wares and tried all different techniques and with in fifteen days I went from reading 220 words per minute to 700 words per minute then I kind of lost interest and quit. Any way the thing is why you want to speed-read. The answer is to save time. There are millions of articles on newspapers and on internet that you came across and if it is a large article you don’t read it. If you have good reading speed then don’t worry about it. Also you if you are a student then you can prepare for your exams better and revise your subject again and again for better results. For this purpose a simple technique is to just move your eyes from left to right side and then start with the next line and see that how many words you can read, you can try it any where whether some internet article or on a newspaper. The most effective way is to learn through software and EyeQ is best of them. You can also find several books on the Internet and you can cheal your reading/writing skills online !
