Well this is the main semester system which is actually adopted globally and has been operated in all the US/UK universities . This system is operation in the UET peshawar, GIK , Nust and a lot of more private universiteis . In this system you will have a semester of 18 weeks which is to be completed in the average of 5 Months , after you study 9 weeks cource you will have to give the mid term exam which will count as 25% .After 18 weeks you will have to give the final exams which will be of 50% waitage . The rest of the 25% will be count as sessionals and it will be marked by the respective professor upon the class behavior , attendance and the sessional/quizs. This system is most common and has been used in most of the universities.Most of the universities have recommended this system and it hs a world wide acceptance . I think that this is the cest system in which student practice more and more and the layer of competition develop between students and this can bring some revolution in the current education level.
